With 50 years cumulative experience in the industry and having worked in the surrounding area for some time, you may recognise the team at Holland & James – Brigg’s new, friendly, expert Opticians.

Charlie Holland was born and bred in Lincolnshire but left to go to university to study Optometry. Spending the next 20 years gaining experience working for well-known high street and smaller independent opticians, in both Yorkshire and North Lincolnshire.

Neil James moved to North Lincolnshire as a teenager and took up roots, continuing to live locally today with his family. Neil’s passion for optics began aged 17 as an ophthalmic lab technician. Over the years he has worked in various roles within the optical industry from the lab to the shop floor, making & dispensing glasses. Also running and managing opticians.

Both are very passionate about eyecare & eyewear and are excited to be opening a new practice together. They look forward to offering the local communities brand new up-to-date equipment to enable a more advanced eye examination. An innovative spectacle lens catalogue alongside a wide range of modern and classic eyewear. All with transparent pricing to suit all budgets.
