WHAT IS PRIZM™?

PRIZM™ is Oakley’s proprietary lens technology that fine-tunes vision for specific environments. PRIZM™ lenses emphasize colours where the eye is most sensitive to detail, which in turn enhances performance, safety, and your overall experience.

Traditional sunglass lenses make it more bearable to view the colours we want to see in an environment. They also tend to do just the same for colours that interfere with our perception. Oakley PRIZM™ works to filter out any "noisy" light that could interfere with vision while emphasizing the colours necessary for optimal performance.

HOW DOES PRIZM™ WORK?

Oakley PRIZM™ lenses, filter the light spectrum using sport-specific dyes to increase contrast and reduce glare for your specific sport, environment, and condition. It's like having a personal sound technician adjust the highs and lows throughout each song so you can feel the individual notes, but for your eyes!

CAN I GET PRIZM™ IN PRESCRIPTION?

YES, you can! As an Oakley Authentic dealer, Holland & James have access to custom authentic lenses for your sunglasses in your prescription. Wearing PRIZM™ in a sport-specific prescription sunglass will make the details in your environment easier to pick up on and in turn, improve your performance. You can also spice up your daily activities with PRIZM™ Everyday in prescription.

DO PRIZM™ LENSES HAVE UV PROTECTION?

Yes! All Oakley Authentic lenses block 100% of UVA and UVB rays, and block UVC and harmful blue light up to 400 nanometres. Blocking out harmful UV rays reduces strain and increases the long-term health of your eyes. By reducing the stress of protecting your eyes, you can stay focused on what matters.
